MMMT Updates and Info

Hello All,

Just thought it might be time again for some updates on the Magical Mystery Mini Tour.

We have added a private tour & tasting at the Mario Andretti Winery in Napa on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 2PM. This will be after our Golden Gate Bridge, Marin Headlands, and Mt. Tam morning run. We will set up a registration form for those who wish to visit the Andretti Winery. They can accommodate a group up to 40, so therefore if we have more than 40 we will arrange another visit for Sunday afternoon. We will be setting up a registration sheet on the MMMT website. We will also be adding a visit to the Gloria Ferrer Winery in Sonoma.

Vendor spotlight: Santa Clara Auto Tech

As Mini of Mountain View isn’t taking appointments currently, this leaves a lot of people clamoring for other places to get service done on their cars. We were happy to learn that Jennifer Timmermann has relocated to this little shop in Santa Clara that does work on MINIs (both late and early models), called Santa Clara Auto Tech, or SCAT for short ;) how funny is that?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock the past few years, South Bay MINI owners know the name Jennifer Timmermann.

From Jerry “Smokey The Hippie” Del Castello:

Well here I am again, your roving reporter on Haight St. Something keeps drawing me back. While I was walking around my old stomping grounds looking for a few Pubs to visit for MMMT, I stumbled upon a cool costume store. It is called Costumes on Haight…..wow what a catchy name….Anyhow, they have some pretty farout stuff to wear…I think I saw some of my old clothes hanging up for rent or sale. Man, I wished I had kept that old stuff…..Dang, who knew…Anyroad, check it out if you are in town…….Later…..
