Heading out for the MINI USA “Pub Crawl” & dinner with 120 other US maniacs. Should be fun. Calling a cab now. Our hotel is filled with MINI/Minis. Glad we have Pat’s MMMT/REME banner flying. It makes it much easier to find our Mini in the “Sea of MINIs”.

Staying at the Eastgate Hotel in downtown Oxford. Had a nice stroll through town center last night with dinner. Getting dressed for the MINI Oxford tour this AM. Will post photos tonight. Heading for MU this afternoon.
We are in Edinburgh Scotland today, will be heading back to Heathrow tonight, then off to Oxford so we can be ready for the MINI plant “addicts” tour on Thursday morning. Can’t wait to find a laundromat

The 19th Annual Hayward Field Meet will take place on Saturday 6 June at Cal State East Bay (Hayward), 9 am to 2 pm. The event is open to all British cars.

Norman Nelson: Just finished dinner at Foley’s Bar in Dublin. A couple of Guiness’s and a local Kilkenny. Jesse had a Bulmers, then Dublin’s Coddie , an old fashioned Dublin dish of potatoes, onions, carrots, back rashers and pork sauage seasoned with peper & parsley for d. Jesse had tradional Irish stew and mushroom soup. Yum Yum We were out “tagging Minis” (putting our Mini club cards on parked Minis) around Dublin. Cheers
