About HAMOC
HAMOC (Huntingdon Area Mini Owners’ Club) is a club that started out within Holly & Michael’s family when we all started to get into minis in september 1998. It was officially established in 1999 when we met up with another group of mini enthusiasts in the Huntingdon Area. HAMOC enjoys an active social calendar and attends many Mini and Non-Mini related events around the country ranging from larger shows such as ‘Mini in the Park’ to local Country Fayres. We even won best club stand at the Birmingham Mini Show 2006, 3rd best Club stand at Stanford Hall Mini Show 2002, Best club stand at Sporting Bears Classic Car show at Kimbolton Castle 2002, & had photo’s of our HAMOC Zoo and 1950’s themed clubstands featured in the mini mags. We try to organise quite a few of our own events for HAMOC members to join in with thoughout the year, such as bowling nights, trips to safari parks, fancy dress Mini Competitions and our very popular annual ‘Huntingdon to Hunstanton’ charity run, which was started in 2003 and has turned out to be a huge success for the club even attracting new members who want to do the run. With 9 years under our belts now we have established HAMOC as the Classic Mini Club for the Huntingdon Area!
